Energy Psychology
Energy Psychology is an umbrella term encompassing several techniques that utilize the mind-body connection. EP combines the best methods in Western psychology and Eastern philosophy and practice. Many methods within EP are evidence-based technique that helps clients make changes in their mind and body to create lasting results.
One technique I use is called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). It combines the practice of exposure and acupressure points to bring about balance in the mind and body. You may have heard of "tapping" or even used tapping previously. However, not all tapping is EFT tapping. While this may be strange, over 176 studies (as of August 2023) have been conducted with EP for treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD. 99% of the 176 studies show EP to be effective. The Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology is a leader in innovation and research in the EP field. As of August 2023, I am officially a certified practitioner of EFT as recognized by ACEP.
